Ali, who was wandering the deserted vastness of Central Asia with his herds, goes to the metropolis to find his wife, who left him many years ago to make a living in the city. Their nine year old son goes with him.
Ali searches for her everywhere, searches for her - alive or dead - in the labyrinths of the unknown city.
He goes for this long and hopeless search because of Love. Love opens to him the secret of Dante's dreadful contradiction. Love doesn’t correspond with life.
He must make his way till the end in order to unravel the tangle of fate. And the fate demands him to pay the unbearable price.,
When his journey comes to an end, he will come back to the earth’s surface. But there will be a different earth below him and above him - another sky.
