Moscow
2000 ‧ Drama ‧ 145 min ‧ 18+
Moscow, 90s. The city without the past and the future. The city, which doesn’t forgive mistakes. Moscow boheme, criminal business: nightlife, easy money, excitement, and confusion create the surface of that life.
During one of the shipments for a “new Russian” nicknamed Mike a large sum of cash disappears… The situation gets even more complicated when on the night before Mike’s wedding his bride falls in love with his friend, whom Mike suspects of stealing the money. Characters try to drown their fear of destructive cruelty in alcohol and drugs. The plot continues to grow, until the problem is resolved in the most universal way - with a bullet in the back of someone’s head.
